Duke Of Hazard Layout - Finished

I have been trying to get this done for a few days and I finally got it finished with the aid of my new hot glue gun [Wonderful tool] Everything finally sticks and I am so happy that it looks delicious enough to eat. I had fun with it, even though I did have the stress of hand stitching cause the sewing machine my Nanna gave me isn't working for some reason.

Let me know what you think.

My Day With Twig

I admit, I haven’t been too fond of my pages lately. They seem to fall flat and not because I don’t have enough embellishments in my stash, but maybe because I have to many or not the right ones. So instead of stressing about it I set out to look at some blogs for inspiration and I came across two, to share with you my day of TWIG.

Inspired by Little Yellow Bicycle’s TWIG range, I decided after visiting Karen’s Blog

– Diary of A Scrapaholic, to get stuck into the range I love so freaking much and see if I can create something inspiration worthy.

Then I had the issue of deciding how to set it out, which is where I found this sketch.

On a new blog I found called:

P.S I had to favourite it right away. It has ignited something inside me. Plus I cannot wait to test the tutorials as well.

So the end product looks a little something like this: I didn’t follow the exact sketch, but used some of the basics.

It is pretty simple, but my style right now seems to lean towards simple and clean.
